Position Overview
 
Mediadonuts by Aleph is looking for ambitious and experienced Finance Assistant to complement our growing international operations team in Philippines.
 
Objectives and Responsibilities
 
·        Process and record invoices for payment.
·        Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
·        Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
·        Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets.
·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
·        Reconcile credit card statements and receipts.
·        Process employee expense reports.
·        Verify and process reimbursement requests.
·        Reconcile bank statements with company records.
·        Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
·        Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
·        Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
·        Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
·        Manage and organize financial documents and records.
·        Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
·        Respond to inquiries and provide information as needed.
·        Maintain organized and well-documented financial files.
·        Ensure compliance with record-keeping policies and procedures.
·        Utilize financial software and tools for data entry and basic analysis.
·        Learn and adapt to new software as needed.
·        Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.
·        Support in preparing documentation for audits.
·        Undertake ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.
·        Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
·        May perform other tasks apart from the above mentioned from time to time per business requirement
 
 
Qualifications:
·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
·        1 to 2 years experience in a similar role is required.
·        Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
·        Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial software.
·        Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
·        Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
·        Good communication and interpersonal skills.
