We are looking for a Sales and Managing Director, Azerbaijan to support our team!
In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping and launching our products in a new market.

This position involves defining and executing entry strategy for our products and boost the sales in Azerbaijan. Your leadership will be instrumental in growing the team and the result’s delivery across the region. If you have extensive experience and industry network and the ability to manage large, complex, multi-million international digital advertising projects, then you are just right with us! 

What you'll do:

    • Sell our products in collaboration with our local team in Azerbaijan. 
    • Be responsible for the result’s delivery across the market.
    • Recruit, train and manage a team of Account and Sales Managers.
    • Lead and motivate the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales targets.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the sales team to enhance their skills and productivity.
    • Build, retain and grow a dedicated book of business consisting of top agencies and advertisers.
    • Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and other defined KPIs.
    • Build and nurture a broad network of customer and industry relationships.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
    • Develop short and long term revenue strategies that deliver significant revenue growth.
    • Plan and execute winning account strategies.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external sales support stakeholders on managed products. 
    • Report to product partner team.
    • Maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Establish strong corporate identity through presence on public events and in media.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

What You Need For This Role:

    • Proven 10+ years of experience in digital media, preferably in a comparable role; digital advertising sales management / digital performance marketing.
    • Entrepreneurial experience or launching a subsidiary of an international group in CIS region.
    • Strong relationships with C-level and Senior Executives in Digital Agencies and local / regional Advertisers.
    • Experience in Digital Marketing, in both Branding and Performance with in-depth knowledge and understanding of campaign management, marketing metrics, big data analysis and high-end analytics.
    • Keen to deliver business crucial results to the client rather than sell media.
    • Ability to react based on business performance and scale ad hoc. 
    • Skilled in establishing relationships with clients across organizations and teams.
    • Deep understanding of business models and business objectives of the key target clients.
    • Good understanding of  trends, markets and opportunities.
    • Excellent leadership skills with empowering and motivating teams.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity and a proactive problem solver.
    • Able to think outside the box and maintain a flexible approach to problem solving.
    • Excellent communications skills in Azerbaijani and English languages – both written and oral.
    • Highly analytical and data focus with the ability to think both strategically and creatively.
    • Tech curiosity with knowledge of Sheets, PowerPoint and Keynote; experience of Salesforce, DSM and DFP is a plus.
