Aleysian is a rapidly growing company in the Salesforce and eCommerce consulting space. We are looking for a creative and driven Developer to use their development skills to extend custom solutions on our partner platforms, specifically Salesforce, Salsify, inriver, and Akeneo, to our clients.
We are experts in helping our clients adopt and implement Salesforce and PIM platforms as the heartbeat of their business processes, allowing employees to maximize their production and effectiveness. Most of our engagements are performed remotely from our offices in Chicago’s loop.
As our next Engineer you will have passion for your software engineering craft, a dedication to continuous learning and improvement, and understands that team communication and collaboration are vital to success.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to determine technical requirements
- Collaborate with senior members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the platform
- Be part of the technical development team and learn from senior team members
- Contribute code that satisfies requirements and adheres to standards and best practices
- Write technical design documentation
- Consistently meets sprint commitments and expectations without close supervision
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A thorough understanding of integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies
- Experience in SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, XML, and JavaScript. Experience in SFDC APIs preferred.
- Fluency in SQL/SQL-like query
- Strong language skills in languages such as Apex, Javascript, C, C++, Java, .NET
- A thorough understanding of integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies
- Strong understanding of SDLC concepts
- Willingness to learn in a rapidly moving environment
- Be results-oriented, able to take a task and achieve objectives with minimal guidance
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or the natural sciences; or the equivalent work experience
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without limitation
