Alice & Bob are a deep tech company going through an R&D stage to build the first fault-tolerant Quantum Computer. We secured 30 million USD in funding to further develop our unique technology.

We are a young team with some of the brightest scientific minds joining us straight from completing their PhD or university. We are seeking an Office Manager who is enthusiastic about nurturing our company's rituals and helping to ensure a great and collborative work experience for everyone!

As Office Manager, you will report to the Head of People and belong to the wider HR team who are looking to create a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our workspaces.


Team Life

    • Plan and coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences.
    • Helping the business achieve good collective practices and rituals (slack, office, meetings...)

General Services

    • Office administration: including managing contracts, service providers and insurance.
    • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
    • Monitoring, managing and optimizing the office management budget (audit current service providers in terms of both budget and performance, benchmark and negotiate with partners.)
    • Receipt of deliveries and management of external visitor access

Human Resources

    • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
    • Coordinate employee onboarding programs
    • Support and develop HR projects
    • Pilot our CSR program
    • Develop and Coordinate our CSR plan

Furthermore until the next fundraise, you will

    • Support the HR team acting as a facilitator for impatriation and other pre-onboarding activities
    • Contribute to the payroll preparation payroll and support the team with HR administrative details,


    • Proven experience in a startup as an office manager or in a similar administrative role
    • Fluent in English and French
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
    • Knowledge of basic human resources and financial management principles
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
