Alice & Bob are a deep tech company going through an R&D stage to build the first fault-tolerant Quantum Computer. We secured 30 million USD in funding to further develop our unique technology.

We are a young team with some of the brightest scientific minds joining us straight from completing their PhD or university. Of course, we are serious about our mission and participation in the quantum race alongside tech giants like Google and IBM, however we are also keen to create ever-lasting memories. Including lots of celebrations and fun, as we continue to have many successes along the way to our ultimate goal of building the first Universal, fault-tolerant Quantum Computer! As a Software Engineering Intern at Alice&Bob, your will contribute to building the software that will enable Alice & Bob Quantum Computer. You will collaborate closely with the experimental physicists that work on our cat qubits.

This is a 6month internship from the Start of July until the end of December


    • Participating in gathering requirements and designing a mid-sized feature of our experimental framework.
    • Hands-on development and testing of the feature.


    • Hands-on experience with Python.
    • Ability to demonstrate good engineering practices (testing, tooling, CI/CD)
    • Experience with Git and GitHub / GitLab is a plus.
    • Scientific background (physics and/or electronics) is a plus.
