Summary
The Flight Crew Operations Dependability and Reliability Specialist is crucial to the successful operation of the Flight Crew Operations Department acting as the subject matter expert on crewmember Dependability and Reliability. This position includes application of department specific attendance policies and procedures for 2500+ crewmembers to include analysis of trending concerns. This will be accomplished by working collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure scheduling accuracy.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details: Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Years of Experience:  
•Minimum three (3) years of experience managing people with a proven track record in performance management of large teams. 
•Minimum two (2) years of experience in aviation with operational experience.
•Minimum one (1) year of experience as a crewmember.
•Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a crew management software.

•Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (exceptional skill level in Excel).
•Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with large data sets and identify trends, patterns, and focus areas for operational leaders.
•Previous experience in translating large data sets into digestible and meaningful pieces of information to influence a change.
•Ability to communicate effectively with a dispersed work force; the ability to handle a large internal client base; ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision.
•Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
•Professional demeanor, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
•Strong knowledge of crewmember dependability and reliability programs.
•Excellent organizational skills.
•Must be attentive to details.

Preferred Requirements
•Previous experience managing people in a unionized environment (e.g., supervisor) strongly desired.
•Previous experience working with reporting software (e.g., Tableau) strongly desired.

Job Duties
•Support Chief Pilot and Inflight Director of Performance with related metrics including absences and crew productivity as it relates to the Flight Crew Operations department’s dependability and reliability programs.
•Track and analyze data of crewmember records and reports. This includes tracking the dependability and reliability of each of our more than 2,500 crewmembers, and issue notices or letters when thresholds are met.
•Ensure any discipline that is issued is done within contractual timelines and develop an organizational system to track outstanding notices.
•Monitor and escalate trending concerns timely and appropriately.
•Work closely with Crew Leave of Absence to ensure accurate and timely coding or recoding of leave approvals.
•Work collaboratively with Crew Scheduling to ensure accuracy of crewmember schedule coding/recoding requests.
•Attend planning meetings with Flight Crew Planning and Crew Planning to ensure bid planning is considering the latest information in unplanned absence to ensure operational integrity and Company OKRs are met (e.g., OTP, controllable cancellation).
•Ensure dependability and reliability processing is consistent across all 20+ crewmember bases.
•Address questions and inquiries by Flight Crew Ops Leadership and other team members in a timely manner.
•Prepare reoccurring presentations with regard to staffing plans, dependability, and reliability to report the trends to senior members of leadership, including the COO.
•Continue to look for ways to automate the process and expand the reporting capabilities.
•Serve as subject matter expert on crewmember dependability and reliability .
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.

Annual Salary: $54,800-$64,900
