Summary:
The Maintenance Pathways Program Manager has oversight of all facets of our maintenance military program in alignment with the company’s values, culture, and overall strategy as an employer of choice. This role reports to the Director, Technical Training and is responsible for creating and executing programs aimed at attracting and retaining aircraft mechanics from all military service branches and maintenance colleges/universities with the ability to become certified Airframe & Powerplant mechanics within Allegiant.
The Program Manager drives strategy, selection and experiences across all military related programs, to include exclusive events such as Transition Assistance Programs and military job fairs, networking opportunities (both online and in-person), professional development, exposure to the larger organization and placement assistance for full time roles. This position’s primary focus will be on A&P pathways and will also strengthen our current military recruitment efforts.
This role will be based in Las Vegas, NV only, and will have the ability to work an onsite, or hybrid of onsite and work from home with some onsite days required. Travel will be required to support the maintenance pathways program events as needed.

Years of Experience:
•Minimum eight (8) years of military maintenance experience (Active Duty, Guard or Reserve).
•Minimum four (4) years of supervisory experience.

•Well versed/knowledgeable in military lingo, processes, and regulations.
•In-depth knowledge of the purpose and objectives of military Transition Assistance Programs.
•Strong presentation skills.
•Proficiency with Airframe and Powerplant Licensure requirements.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
•Experience in conducting training including creating, overseeing, and delivering on-the job training.
•Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
•Self-motivated & team oriented.
•Ability and willingness to travel as required in support of the maintenance pathways program events.
Preferred Requirements:
•Master's degree.
•Program and Project Management experience.
•Active secret security clearance.
Job Duties:
•Communicate professionally with company representatives, government officials, general public, and staff.
•Own program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to leadership across multiple lines of business including partnering with government officials to help develop an Airframe and Powerplant program for maintenance students, transitioning military candidates, active, guard, and reserve.
•Partner with Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers, Directors, and VPs to forecast and coordinate hiring needs for maintenance students and military maintenance candidates.
•Create and manage maintenance school partnerships (advance job offer program, military prep course creation, scholarship programs, business reviews, etc.).
•Create and manage Airframe and Powerplant prep course (business review, etc.).
•Management of contracts and agreements for partnership and courses.
•Tracking and managing for candidates in all pathways to completion.
•Deliver outstanding experiences for our program participants and strategic partners and conduct periodic surveys for continuous improvement feedback.
•Identify, develop, and monitor metrics, quality controls, and processes to determine effectiveness.
•Serve as SME for cross-functional pathways for A&P program.
•Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop robust hiring pipelines.
•Manage budget and requisitions related to programs.
•Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our customer commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
