Summary
The Advertising Specialist plays an integral role in supporting the management, execution and reporting of Allegiant paid advertising efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Advertising, the Advertising Specialist will oversee day-to-day campaign management of the company’s paid advertising efforts by assisting the advertising manager in the research, agency oversight, and development of promotional programs as well as the flow of media and creative production on behalf of the company.  The Advertising Specialist will provide cross-functional support inside and outside of the organization to meet department goals of improved efficiency and revenue growth. This position is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a good understanding of paid media. Strong project management and organizational skills are a must.  The Advertising Specialist will be required to work with Allegiant team members as well as partner organization representatives and agency representation. In many case, position will be required to work with discretion.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree in a related field

Years of Experience:
Minimum two (2) years experience in a paid advertising support role

Job Duties
•Manage and execute day-to-day paid media marketing campaigns across the enterprise including social media campaigns, traditional local campaigns as well as promotional/sponsorship executions.
•Day to day oversight of co-op programs to include budget tracking, invoice generation and payment monitoring.
•Monitor and report on news/trends on the local market level and competitive sets to identify new opportunities.
•Assist with planning and process workflow to improve channel efficiency and meet goals.
•Responsible for weekly budget pacing and monthly accruals
•Maintain consistent & accurate files on all correspondence & data, including project budgets
•Maintain tracking & accountability for assigned campaigns.
•Assist with creative implementation/new initiative planning
•Other duties as assigned

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
