Summary
The Fleet Planning Intern will directly support management by analyzing cost center spend, forecasting, performing ad-hoc analysis, refining processes, and completing other projects as requested.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED
Education Details:
Currently pursuing degree or recent graduate.  To be qualified to apply intern candidates should be currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent graduate within the last six months with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Job Duties
•Provide in-depth analyses of business results, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and communicate findings with management.
•Analysis of current and potential fleet transactions and asset management initiatives.
•Administrative support related to fleet transactions and aircraft deliveries.
•Administration and monitoring of compliance with aircraft and engine leases.
•Provide support for aircraft financing initiatives and aircraft transactions.
•Manage and continuously monitor the airframe retirement process.
•Lead process improvement and reporting initiatives for aircraft retirements.
•Provide support for ongoing RFPs for airframe and engine shop visits.
•Provide assistance with ad-hoc tasks relating to the aircraft delivery process.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
