Summary:
The Facilities Coordination Intern will directly support the Facilities Department in their daily responsibilities and operational dealings of Allegiant Travel Company. The role will interface with the chief facilities engineer in a variety of tasks related to maintaining and improving company facilities and equipment as well as office and project tasks relating to badge issuance, back up coverage for shipping and receiving, invoicing, ordering/shipping, badging, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. 

Education:  High School Diploma/GED 

Education Details:   
Bachelor's Degree recent graduate or currently pursuing degree. To be qualified to apply intern candidates should be currently enrolled in a college or university or a recent graduate within the last six months with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

Knowledge of Microsoft Projects. 
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. 

Preferred Requirements:
Experience in facilities background, and understanding of mechanical, basic electrical and instrumentation equipment preferred. 

Job Duties:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining spare parts inventory. 
Responsible for purchasing activities and records. 
Process Facility Invoices in conjunction with the Executive Secretary. 
Assist the Facility Manger and Chief Engineer with Station openings and construction projects. 
Responsible for the backup coverage of Shipping and Receiving. 
Coordinate shipping and delivery of items to all Allegiant Stations and HQ. 
Initiate Spreadsheets that will capture over all Billing and venders at each location. 
Review all contracts with venders and executes in calibration with the Facility manager. 
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Continuous Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 
Coordinate planning and scheduling with operations. 
Responsible for maintenance records. 
Accountable for housekeeping/coordination of the maintenance group. 
Maintain thorough knowledge of the plant equipment status and all changes in operating conditions. 
Issue and track company Badges. 
Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction. 
Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
