Summary
The Maintenance Training Instructor is qualified through training and experience on the equipment, systems, policies, and procedures taught. They are responsible to the Manager of Maintenance Training for instructing Maintenance Department personnel in maintenance policies and procedures and how to properly maintain Allegiant Air aircraft.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
Years of Experience:  
•Minimum five (5) years' Airline, Aircraft Maintenance Line Technician.
•Minimum five (5) years' Aircraft Maintenance Technical Training Instructor.
•Minimum five (5) years' Airbus A320/ Boeing 737Max aircraft family line experience.
•ISD (Instructional Systems Design). ATA 104, Training Material Formatting, Training Material Development Software experience.
•Microsoft Suite – PowerPoint/Word/Excel/Access/Visio/Project/Adobe eLearning Suite.
•Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 systems knowledge.
•Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 Engine Run & Taxi experience.
•Instructor experience in technical settings.
•Experience with Learning Management Systems.
•Extensive knowledge of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems Program application and avionics systems.
•Valid/Unexpired Passport Book: No
•Valid/Unexpired Driver's License: No

Job Duties
•Develop and provide classes of instruction on Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft systems.
•Develop syllabi and provide instruction on Allegiant Air maintenance policies and procedures to company and contract maintenance personnel.
•Prepare course material for each class session.
•Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for course development and re-development.
•Perform Airbus Engine Run & Taxi qualification training.
•Provide technical assistance to other departments as directed by the Manager of Maintenance Training.
•Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Maintenance Training.
•Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Provide practical instruction on Powered Industrial Truck equipment.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
