Summary 
The Allegiant Altitude Cadet is a student enrolled and conducting flight training with McAir Aviation or in the Spartan Educational flight training program. Cadets that are successful in entering the Altitude Pathway are provided a Conditional Job Offer as an Allegiant First Officer and once successfully complete the program, will be sponsored to attend ATP-CTP and begin training as an Allegiant First Officer.

Minimum Requirements 
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Certification Details: 
•FAA Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Airplane 
•FAA First Class Medical Certificate 
•FCC Radiotelephone License 
 
Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job. 
 
Years of Experience:  At least 19 Years old (21 Years old to attend ATP-CTP)

Valid/Unexpired Passport Book: Yes 
 
Valid/Unexpired Driver’s License: Yes 
 
Preferred Requirements 
•Basic computer skills. 
 
Job Duties 
•Attend and pass all courses in accordance with Spartan Educational curriculum. 
•Receive all FAA ratings as required by McAir Aviation 
•Remain eligible for issuance of R-ATP. 
•Attend Professional Development Seminars (in-person or virtually). 
•Meet with Altitude Cadre and Mentors during in-person visits as able. 
•All Cadets must verify their flight time by logbooks. 
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions. 
•Attend visits to Allegiant HQ and training centers when scheduled and as able.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a plane equipment (i.e. flight deck computers, plane doors, emergency equipment, etc.). May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 100 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to extreme noise (i.e.airport with planes, vehicles, and other machinery), temperature, wind, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Travel is a requirement of the role. 
 
Essential Services Provider 
Allegiant as a national air carrier is deemed an essential service provider during declared national and state emergencies. Team Members will be required to report to their assigned trip or work location during national and state emergencies unless prohibited by local, state or federal order.
