Volunteer
Our editorial team is a group of exceptional writers who profile the architects of tomorrow (female founders and funders!) for the All Raise blog. We’re on the hunt for more contributing writers to join our team.

This is an opportunity to do meaningful work like:

    • Reach out to female founder and funders to schedule interviews and translate conversations into uniquely candid, “you-can’t-read-this-anywhere-else” profile pieces for the All Raise blog
    • Use your writing and marketing skills to advance our mission (to accelerate the success of female founders and funders to build a more prosperous, equitable future)
    • Work closely with our Director of Communications, Community Manager, and fellow Editorial team volunteers to thoroughly understand the All Raise brand (especially voice and tone) and contribute compelling ideas for our blog
    • Attend monthly All Raise MarComm team meetings with other volunteers to coordinate our activities and generate new ideas

Our ideal volunteer:

    • Has marketing and communications experience that has made them a curious interviewer, creative writer, and compelling storyteller
    • Is deeply familiar with tech from a venture or startup perspective
    • Believes strongly in shining a spotlight on female founders and funders, especially underrepresented women of color
    • Can collaborate with fellow writers and editors to meet story deadlines

Estimated time commitment:

    • At minimum 2-3 hours per week but could be more depending on interest and availability
    • We collaborate regularly as a team on Slack (throughout the week) and meet in-person or over ZOOM for one hour every month

Unique perks of this role:

    • We are the team that brings the All Raise brand to life through storytelling — add to your personal writing portfolio
    • Expand your network meeting amazing female leaders
    • Join a group of fun, ultra-talented women with marketing, brand, and comms savvy from across venture and startups
