OBJECTIVES

    • We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Video Editor to join our creative force and bring our mobile game marketing campaigns to life. You’ll collaborate closely with the Creative and UA teams to craft dynamic short-form videos that captivate, convert, and stay on trend.

WHAT YOU WILL DO


    • Motion Editing
    • Turn provided materials into videos using motion editing techniques: camera shakes, catchy transitions, punchy effects, and layered VFX.
    • Create engaging visual effects (2D animation, light streaks, particles, etc.) and manipulate both 2D and simulated 3D camera perspectives for visual depth.
    • Add VFX elements such as lighting bursts, sparkles, particles, glows, and other dynamic flourishes to enhance viewer engagement.

    • Creative Execution & Material Cooking:
    • “Cook” effect-heavy videos by combining graphic assets, raw gameplay, and other creative materials into video projects.
    • Apply basic Spine & 3D animation for simple character or object motions where applicable.
    • Collaborate with our Creative Project Coordinator and UA team to understand briefs, and integrate feedback smoothly.
    • Utilize Gen AI tools to boost creative output:Runway Gen-3 or 4 for AI-powered motion generation and scene transitionsChatGPT or other AI tools to cook images, refine scripts, check spelling, or generate placeholder visualsHyper3D, Meshy to turn 2D visuals into animated 3D-ready elementsOpen to learn or to be trained AI tools.

    • Efficiency & Ownership
    • Actively give suggestions on motion ideas to deliver projects with the highest quality standard.
    • Actively communicate with team on task status, progression, supports needed
    • Manage your timeline effectively, delivering on-brand, high-quality video under deadline.Ensure no technical errors: correct branding info, check spelling, no motion error, qualified resolution & file size, etc.

Technical skills requirements:

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Game Designer, Product Owner for one or more mobile game products.
    • Proven expertise in game design, core loop, and monetization strategies for diverse revenue models (ads, in-app purchases, hybrid) is highly desirable.
    • Strong game analysis skills: applicants must be able to intelligently deconstruct & discuss the strengths and weaknesses of games' design and experience.
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, able to work effectively in a data-informed environment.
    • Good sense of user experience & psychology in user design

    • Demonstrates a strong interest in and understanding of technology, marketing, analytics, and data-driven solutions.
    • A proactive learner who is eager to acquire new skills and stay updated on mobile market trends.
    • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user interaction diagrams.
    • Practical application of Agile methodologies.
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
    • An effective communicator capable of sharing ideas, discussing projects, and providing constructive feedback.
