How did it all start?

Founded on March 15, 1991, in Surabaya as PT Anglomas International Bank (Amin Bank), the
bank was acquired by Tolaram Group and transformed to PT Bank Amar Indonesia (Amar Bank)
in 2014. It has then undergone a significant digital transformation to become one of the
country's forerunning fintech institutions through its award-winning digital lending platform,
Tunaiku.

Responsibilities:

    • About the position: The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of our organization's data. The Data Administrator will play a crucial role in managing and organizing vast amounts of information, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
    • Data Management:
    • Improve query performance
    • Database performance monitoring
    • Oversee the organization's databases, ensuring optimal performance, integrity, and availability.
    • Design and implement data models, schemas, and structures to support business needs.
    • Perform regular data cleansing, validation, and enrichment to maintain high-quality data.
    • Data Security and Privacy:Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and privacy policies.
    • Collaborate with IT security teams to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
    • Data Governance:
    • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
    • Establish data quality standards and ensure adherence across the organization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ownership and stewardship responsibilities.
    • Data Integration:
    • Manage the integration of data from various sources to provide a unified and comprehensive view.
    • Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.
    • Implement and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
    • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives by providing clean and accurate data.
    • Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand reporting requirements.
    • Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
    • Documentation and Training:
    • Document data management processes, procedures, and best practices.
    • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on data management principles.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance on data-related queries.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Data Administrator or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), data modeling, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and SQL.
    • Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance standards.
    • Experience with ETL tools and processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
    • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
