Responsibilities

    • Optimize app listings (title, description, keywords, screenshots, videos, etc.) on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
    • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the app ecosystem.
    • Monitor and improve keyword rankings and visibility using ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, App Annie, Sensor Tower).
    • A/B test different app creatives (icons, screenshots, preview videos).
    • Collaborate with the product and design teams for consistent branding and messaging.
    • Conduct keyword research and identify growth opportunities for organic traffic across web properties.
    • Optimize on-page elements: metadata, headings, content structure, internal linking.
    • Perform technical audits and coordinate with developers to implement fixes (e.g., site speed, crawlability, schema).
    • Monitor backlinks, identify toxic links, and collaborate with content and PR teams on link-building strategies.
    • Regularly track performance via Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
    • Generate weekly/monthly reports on ASO and SEO performance and provide actionable insights.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends in algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
    • Support cross-functional marketing campaigns with keyword guidance and performance analysis.

Requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in ASO and SEO, preferably for mobile-first businesses or digital products.
    • Proficient in ASO and SEO tools (e.g., AppTweak, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
    • Deep understanding of App Store and Play Store algorithms and SEO ranking factors.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large data sets.

Bonus point if

    • Experience working with mobile analytics platforms (Firebase, Mixpanel, Adjust, AppsFlyer).
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
    • Basic knowledge of paid marketing strategies and how ASO/SEO complements them.
