What You'll Do
- Provide legal guidance on corporate finance and governance, contributing to risk management and strategic decision-making.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements, including sales, procurement, and marketing.
- Manage and organize legal documents as well as ensure compliance where needed.
- Assist with corporate structuring and finance efforts to support strategic objectives.
- Manage equity and debt financing transactions to secure favorable terms and compliance.
- Work closely with outside counsel on objectives above and specific legal matters that arise.
Minimum Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years of legal experience.
- 2+ years of experience with corporate law and commercial transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing, chemicals, materials science, construction, or similar sectors.
- Experience with complex commercial agreements, sales, marketing, supply chain and procurement.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in growth stage startup environments is highly valued.
- Knowledge of M&A as well as equity and debt financings is a plus.

$180,000 - $250,000 a year
