Role Definition:
While there is much ado about Digital, the technologies that drive this domain are evolving rapidly, with major contributions from the open source community. Software engineering practices have undergone a major transformation in this era of distributed computing. One of the key trends is an API first approach. More so, today’s digital stacks are predominantly cloud native, highly responsive and cater to an always-on experience, powered by microservices.
Besides, there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to the right solution, since most telecom operators need to evolve and embrace digital paradigms atop legacy systems.
Hence the call is for an SME with deep technical expertise on software design using enterprise “digital technologies” that are open source based. These include Cloud Based platforms stacks, NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra), Spring, JBoss, Docker etc.
You will be conceptualizing software design and architectures with Amdocs’s clients and internal product teams, lead hands-on software development for pilot projects and go-to market programs as part of “tiger teams” and driving technology leadership.
The position will be based out of the Amdocs office in Seattle.
