About the Position:

The Clinical Support Advisor position is responsible for assisting with the tracking and processing of faculty, faculty training needs, purchase orders, and scheduling.  This includes overall assisting VP of Re-Entry Programs and Regional Directors with the handling and documenting of key paperwork for the running of the ISUDT and YOP programs.

What You Will Do:

    • Schedules trainings for all prison campuses (including youth projects) with trainers and consultants.
    • Performance Accountability Review (PAR) prison audit tracking and response. 
    • Reviews and tracks each score then supports Regional Director and Program Director on corrective action plan. 
    • Monitors and submits weekly reports to Division of Rehabilitative Programs (DRP), each Thursday prison vacancies and facility departures. 
    • Tracking of all relocation expenses, sign on bonuses, a referral bonuses for ISUDT and YOP programs with the support of People Operations. 
    • Meets with Regional Directors once a month to access training schedules and travel needs. 
    • Attends monthly meetings with DRP Executives, taking meeting notes.
    • Attends monthly Program Director Meetings with Regional Directors, VP of Re-Entry Projects, and Chief Operating Officer; takes meeting notes.
    • Receives, Submits, and Track all DocuSign’s for each prison campuses purchases and trainings. 
    • Works closely with People Operations and Head Office in Tucson on reimbursements and purchases. 
    • Meets with VP of Re-entry Programs weekly for supervision. 
    • On-site/Remote presence for an average of 40 working hours per week during program hours Monday through Friday, with the exception of vacation, sick leave, meetings, trainings, or State holidays. 
    • Available by cell phone one (1) hour prior and one (1) hour after and throughout standard programming hours.
    • Work collaboratively with CDCR/CCHCS and institution staff, as required.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

    • Education and Experience:
    • Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
    • Experience in a supervisory role an asset.
    • Minimum 1 years’ experience working with DRP in Custody-based contracts.
    • Knowledge:
    • Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse; appreciation for the behavioral, psychological, physical and social effects of drug abuse.
    • Knowledge of contractual requirements of ISUDTP Data Management functions are essential.
    • Understand an array of treatment models available to participants, and maintain a current awareness of availability for placement within each treatment paradigm
    • Operational knowledge of MS-Word, Excel, and Access.

    • Highly competent in organizational leadership and contract compliance.
    • Ability to integrate, disseminate, and implement requirements, reporting timeframes and/or procedure changes as indicated by CDCR.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written communications and typing skills.
    • Attention to detail, and ability to manage large amounts of data.
    • Ability to integrate, disseminate, and implement data requirements, reporting timeframes and/or procedure changes as indicated by CDCR.
    • Ability to demonstrate proper attitudes and communication towards program participants; faculty and outside partners.

    • Within specified contract timeframes, personnel file shall document evidence of participation in the following trainings:
    • Organizational and Institutional Employee Orientation (attend first available CDCR institutional orientation training)
    • CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis (TB) test
    • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
    • Trauma-Informed Care
    • Sexual Harassment Prevention
    • Emergency Procedures
    • Confidentiality (Title 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 2)
    • Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (Title 45 CFR Part 164)
    • Signed acknowledgement of Drug Free Workplace policy
    • Signed CDCR Prison Rape Elimination Policy (PREA) form

Monday - Friday work schedule
