What we are looking for
Ampd Energy is growing and seeking a Sourcing Manager to join its Supply Chain team. Ampd’s Entertainer provides a new way for the construction industry to power its growth vastly reducing emissions and providing a high level of data transparency. You will be responsible for supporting our Supply Chain team. The work is varied and includes sourcing of direct & indirect materials, and new technology finished products.
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain or related disciplines
- At least 8 years relevant experience in procurement and strategic sourcing
- Strong sourcing network including China, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America
- Ability to manage raw materials suppliers and OEM/ODM’s performance via supplier scorecard, ensure delivery on time, within budget and in good quality
- Strong in supplier negotiation to achieve set target
- Good in problem solving, data consolidation and analysis skills
- Self-motivated and aggressive, have ability handling multi-tasks
- Good verbal and written communication in both English and Mandarin
- Willing to travel occasionally
What you will be doing
- Take overall responsibility for strategic sourcing, manage goals of the company and implement action items to ensure that goals can be achieved
- Develop and implement sourcing and supplier selection strategies, develop and select potential and capable suppliers/OEMs as business partners
- Analyse industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimise risk and protect continuity of supply
- Implement supplier agreements/contracts to reach agreement on terms and conditions.
- Work closely with cross functional teams, as well as management to define sourcing requirements
- Responsible for negotiations of best possible cost and develop strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
- Develop supplier KPIs with key suppliers, sustain supplier competitiveness on pricing, quality, and delivery
- Implement scorecard report to keep track suppliers’ performance
