Ampd Energy is growing, and we are now seeking for a Senior Quality Manager
to join our Quality team and drive new product quality. Quality is our business
and at Ampd we are looking for a high performing Senior Manager to influence
and enable quality to be the centre of everything we do.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in any disciplines pertaining to Science, Technology or Engineering.
- At least 8 years of solid experience in Quality Management with hands on experience in embedding quality deliverables into design and development processes.
- Strong knowledge in APQP, accompanied with implementation experience.
- Good knowledge in Quality Function Deployment and understands requirement cascades.
- Ability to drive and manage DFMEA, from robust framework understanding to assurance. Knowledge in DFMEA software such as APIS or Plato is an added advantage.
- Problem solving as a second nature.
- Ability to be a change agent and can evidence through past experiences and exposure.
- Independent and aggressive, ability to influence multiple layers with quality goals in mind.
- Solid written and communication skills in English. Other languages will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in critical quality tools – 8D, DMAIC/Six Sigma, TQM, CP, FMEAs etc.
- Certified Quality Engineer with ASQ or equivalent.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible to establish new product design quality ways of working, tools/techniques and deliverables. You will be required to:
- Develop and implement quality strategies, to ensure quality is embedded into design and development processes.
- Influence through leading the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning processes.
- Lead the reporting of project health metrics and own the quality confidence metrics.
- Work hand in hand with product team, engineering, supply chain and operations to establish interdependence and ensure coherence in project status.
- Champion DFMEA efforts and lead the reporting of risk health.
- Implement and report quality health metrics
