Ampd Energy is growing, and we are now seeking for a Senior Quality Manager
to join our Quality team to manage our field performance. Quality is our business
and at Ampd we are looking for a high performing Senior Manager to influence
and enable quality to be the centre of everything we do.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in any disciplines pertaining to Science, Technology or Engineering.
- At least 8 years of solid experience in Quality Management with hands on experience in managing and developing suppliers.
- Strong reliability engineering background – ability to examine data and highlight insights.
- Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt and an active practitioner.
- Highly motivated by data and able to work with teams across the globe to understand customers and clients needs and expectations to be considered for R&D.
- Ability to visualize data and familiar with tools and techniques that enables these such as Tableau.
- Problem solving as a second nature with robust 8D methodology knowledge.
- Ability to be a change agent and can evidence through past experiences and exposure.
- Independent and aggressive, ability to influence multiple layers with quality goals in mind.
- Solid written and communication skills in English. Other languages will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in critical quality tools – APQP, Minitab, 8D, DMAIC/Six Sigma, TQM, CP, FMEAs etc.
- Certified Quality Engineer with ASQ or equivalent.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible to implement dashboards, tools and techniques for market surveillance. You will be required to:
- Develop and implement quality strategies, to ensure market quality processes are well defined and implemented.
- Process market data to develop trends and pattern and determine required actions.
- Establish tracking mechanism to document cost of external failures, working with all the required cross functional teams in doing so.
- Work closely with field engineering and data teams to develop both data gathering and processing requirements.
- Influence through leading the implementation of AMPD market health dashboards.
- Work closely with R&D Quality, Process Design Quality and Engineering to ensure close loop processes are robust to prevent repeat issues.
- Lead and report field performance metrics.
- Lead investigations with robust containments, corrective actions and preventive actions.
