The VP, Operations will play a pivotal role in leading Ampd Energy through its next phase of growth ensuring smooth operations for a multi-country, multi-product business. The VP, Operations will be responsible for overseeing various key aspects of operations including supply chain management, manufacturing, quality assurance, and some core business operations. This role demands strategic vision, operational expertise, and effective leadership to drive the company towards its ambitious goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the global supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience.
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers and partners, driving collaboration and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and mitigate risks within the supply chain, proactively addressing disruptions and enhancing supplier diversification.
- Implement best practices in lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence methodologies.

Quality Assurance and Reliability:
- Establish and enforce rigorous quality control standards across all stages of production and distribution.
- Implement quality management systems to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Drive initiatives to enhance product reliability and durability, reducing failure rates and improving customer satisfaction.

Service Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive service strategy that makes Ampd’s service best in category.
- Work closely with senior sales leadership to understand customer and partner needs and expectations to ensure repeat sales.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts as well as innovative solutions within the service organization.

Business Operations
- Lead the management team in the annual planning and goal setting process, collaborating with executive leadership to define strategic priorities, goals and metrics.
- Plan and coordinate the communication rhythm of the management team.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems, aligning with business objectives and scalability requirements.

Sales Operations
- Ideal candidates would also have capability to oversee company Sales Operations. 

WHO YOU ARE:

Educated:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Product Quality & Movement: 
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, quality assurance, and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the energy storage or related industries.
- Previous experience leading service organizations.

Scale Up Environment:
- Proven track record of success in operational leadership roles within fast-paced, technology-driven environments.
- Leader: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Global Footprint: 
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex projects across multiple geographies and teams.
- Prior experience working in an international context and managing diverse, cross-cultural teams.
- Proficiency in IT systems and tools, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency.
