Summary of the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a high performing junior to mid level professional to spearhead our UK sales. Sky's the limit! 

Ampd Energy is growing and is seeking a Sales Development Manager to join its Sales and Marketing team. Ampd Energy products provide a new way for industries to find power,  vastly reducing emissions and providing a high level of data transparency. You help empower industries to transition to a cleaner future through lead generation and building trusted relationships with distributors and customers. The work is varied and includes enabling a pipeline, engaging with all levels of an organization (both executives and field workers), presenting at conferences and events, brainstorming on new products with our internal teams and developing new ways to reach our customers. You won’t get bored! 

You should be motivated, reliable, thorough, and excited about being among the first in the world to work with game-changing products. You will be expected to be able to operate with a degree of autonomy, and be a clear, candid, and effective communicator.

What You'll Do:

    • Own the UK Market: Build, maintain, and close a pipeline of indirect channel partners, customers, and sales opportunities.
    • Partner with Distributors: Work with distributors to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
    • Upsell Current Customers: Support existing customers, understand their future development plans, and build new opportunities.
    • Customer Voice: Bring customer feedback to internal stakeholders for ongoing product development.
    • Sales Process: Build leads through attending and presenting at events, providing case studies, referrals, cold-calling, and other creative ways of reaching our customers. Then create and present proposals for customers to match their specific needs, and close sales.

Who You Are:

    • Some Experience: At least four years of prior experience with proven Sales Development success, preferably in equipment rental. Experience working with distributors or with an indirect route-to-market.
    • Communicator: Strong communicator with high energy and a proven customer focus. Comfortable presenting innovative technology products in front of both small and large audiences.
    • Tech Savvy: Ability to pick up technical concepts quickly and be able to explain them simply. Comfortable using and maintaining CRM systems and other digital tools.
    • Passionate: Passion for renewable energy or climate change
    • Relationship Builder: As a natural relationship-builder, you build trust with people at all levels
    • Role can be based anywhere in the UK. Monthly to quarterly travel within the UK is required to meet with customers and distributors.
