A. Morton Thomas & Associates (AMT, Inc.), an employee owned consultant engineering firm, is seeking to hire a Construction Services Manager – Northeast Region. Position is flexible to be in any of our AMT Maryland, DC, or Virginia offices.

AMT currently has 50 construction managers and inspectors on assignment in Maryland. AMT is looking to grow its staff, expand into other jurisdictions and develop additional client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities include: Growing and maintaining current contract and client base, supporting field staff, regular client / potential client interaction, proposal / oral presentation preparation, strategic planning, firm leadership activities and responsibilities.

Candidates must possess Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in MD, or eligibility for MD PE licensure through reciprocity or can provide information regarding their ability to test for MD PE licensure. A candidate with CCM certification and eligible for MD PE licensure will also be acceptable for consideration. Candidates with BSCE degree from an accredited higher education college/university are preferred. Previous experience with construction project management at the field level and management level is preferred. Previous experience with MDOT agencies and other MD local government agencies is required. Geographic areas of responsibility will include Maryland, District of Columbia, Delaware, Southern Pennsylvania, and Northern Virginia.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and licensure. Other compensation factors will include annual bonuses.
