Position Overview: 
Amyris is looking for a Logistics Specialist that will play a critical role in rapidly scaling its manufacturing and supply chain to Europe. The Logistics Specialist will work with both internal and external business partners to develop and maintain processes in our B2B and B2C channels. 
In addition to working with Amyris’ teammates, the Logistics Specialist will work closely with the 3PL’s, E-commerce, Planning, Customer Service, and Operations teams.

Main Mission: 
The Logistics Specialist will use their experience to develop, implement and control logistics processes. 
They will ensure inventory accuracy across all logistics systems and work towards standardization. This role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a holistic understanding of logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

    • Ensure inventory accuracy across Amyris’ systems. Maintaining one version of the truth in all our systems.
    • Make bi-weekly Stock Reconciliation between ERP and 3PL WMS.
    • Make bi-weekly Stock Reconciliation between B2B and D2C sell out to ensure online stock levels.
    • Help design and implement the processes which keep our data aligned.
    • Create process flows, how to guides and training documents in collaboration with the wider business.
    • Contribute to Logistics initiatives to support the launch of new brands and/or markets.
    • Drive standardization and innovation in logistics activities.
    • Work together with E-commerce team, 3PL and Planning team to identify and support the implementation of opportunities for improvement.
    • Work together with retailers to meet their requirements.
    • Documented Supply Chain processes.
    • Place and close intercompany Orders.
    • Update Supply Chain Reports KPIs (Logistics and Demand Planning).
    • Make delivery bookings in retailers platform.

Basic Qualifications:

    • University degree in an Engineering or related field.
    • Exposure to logistics operations either via university projects or work experience.
    • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data to drive performance improvement and generate creative problem-solving solutions.
    • Results oriented, proactive, innovative and with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and Power BI.
    • Ability to work independently within a given framework.
    • Understanding of the impact of incorrect or misaligned data.
    • Proficiency in English.
