The Vice President, Marketing & Creative is a critical, innovative, and strategic role for Rose Inc. This leader will have the ability to innovate and create 360 marketing initiatives that build brand reach and awareness. They will structure and execute to deliver on an omnichannel retail platform while driving strategic business objectives. Oversee the full build of the new innovative ecommerce platform offering best in class editorial and ecommerce experiences that will convert and retain consumers.


    • Position Rose Inc as the leader in effective, clean cosmetics aligned with the company’s Brand Pillars and Mission. 
    • Shape the brand DNA and lead the development and implementation of the Rose Inc global Marketing strategy and product portfolio to drive brand growth and capture market share across global markets. 
    • Oversee development and implementation of integrated 360-degree marketing plan and calendar that leverages creative thinking to achieve the greatest reach, talk-value, and conversion down the funnel. 
    • Develop and execute strategy globally in Growth Marketing, including overarching paid media strategy, search, social, display and affiliates and for Brand Marketing, including brand strategy, seasonal planning, consumer insights, advertising, sponsorships, CRM, retail marketing, PR/communications, social media and traffic. 
    • Drive and lead Content, Social Media and PR strategies.  Partner with Creative for all marketing assets, internal and external communications, and execution that elevates and improve outcomes. 
    • Responsible for strategic oversight of regular campaign performance analysis and optimization recommendations.  
    • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to develop, strategize and deliver on Marketing & eCommerce strategy and support the achievement of the organization’s growth goals 
    • Build partnership and lead Marketing efforts with global retailers.  Partner with Sales to ensure retail customer needs are being met. 
    • Build out innovation roadmap and partner with Product Development to bring new assortments to life.  
    • Lead and drive CRM and Loyalty team to implement personalized experiences and campaigns as well as drive personalization. Work to create a leading loyalty program for Rose Inc. 
    • Manage P&L/budgets for Marketing consistently with business strategy and goals as well as monthly forecasting and budgets.

Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree; 15+ years of related experience with Marketing, Brand development and Digital experience.

    • Passion for skincare & beauty industry. Experience in Beauty or retail preferred.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly communicate a vision.
    • Strong aesthetic sense.
    • Experience leading high-caliber, effective cross-functional teams.

Amyris is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  

The annual pay range for this role is $153,500 to $303,500. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis, and will vary based on the candidate’s skills, depth of experience and specific work location.  This role is also eligible for incentive pay, equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and stock options.
