The role of the Field Sales and Education Executive will manage Amyris brands at a very well known Beauty Retailer in DACH region and additional retailers as distribution grows.

- Drive retail sales in-store and provide best in class training to a group of designated stores within the territory.
- Support achieving overall retail sales targets and revenue goals.
- Serves as a key liaison between the Amyris brands and retail partner to positively build strong relationships with each store and maximize brand awareness.
- Support Trade Marketing plans, run new product launch trainings and ensure good stock levels in-store to drive retail sales, particularly during key trading periods.
 
We are looking for someone who has experience in, and thrives on, driving retail sales in-store and is keen to develop into an educational role.
 
Candidate should be based in Frankfurt, Munich or Stuttgart. This role requires weekly travel to cities across Germany (approximately 80% of the time).

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Retail Sales
    • Drive retail sales in-store, to pre-determined targets.
    • Provide weekly sales report and qualitative insights.

    • Store visits & performance
    • Manage region of stores and establish relationships with each store through visits, in store selling and follow up calls or emails.
    • Ensure visual merchandising is updated and in optimal condition. Ensure trade marketing execution is implemented in stores. Provide weekly report from visited stores.
    • Negotiate additional space and location opportunities in store.
    • Plan and execute special events in store. Drive retail sales in store.
    • Review stores monthly retail sales results and build a plan to support unproductive stores in order to improve their performance.
    • Build weekly store visits, trainings & sales plan in alignment with Retail Account Manager.
    • Visit a minimum of 28 stores p/ month with Thursday & Fridays being sales support days. Up to 3 admin days per month.
    • Support Retailer Account Manager with field insights and competitors and market initiatives in the local market.

    • Training
    • Prepare and run monthly store trainings. Aim for 10-15 store trainings per month.
    • Organize & host key city training events within budget allowance.
    • Support the Field Sales & Education Manager with insights for the Monthly Education presentation in PPT format.

    • Other
    • Work closely with Field Sales and Education Manager. Support with ad-hoc requests.
    • Provide visibility on regions relevant activations from competitor brands.
    • Willing to participate in retailer-run brand education initiatives when needed such as Flash talks or staff engagement social channels.
    • Flexible work schedule to include weekends, evenings and some holidays if requested by the business.
