ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and are seeking an industry experienced Product Manager to join our growing team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada. The Product Manager has an important leadership role and is responsible for driving the strategic immediate and long-term vision of the product throughout all departments within the organization.  This role has a technical understanding of our product and our competitors’ products.  You will communicate key advantages and limitations of our product to identify market position, product gaps, and sales channel strategy.  The product manager manages ANA’s energy storage product portfolio and is a key member of the product development and leadership team.  You will drive new product definition as well as drive new features and capabilities to existing products.  
 
The Product Manager role requires an experienced professional who drives the company's product strategy, provides leadership, and delivers innovative products that meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.
 
Drawing on a comprehensive understanding of market, technology, and sales, the product manager will drive product strategy, introduction, applications, training, & end of life. The product manager will present business cases for new development and custom opportunities as well as providing leadership and direction for the product line.  You will work with Engineering to resolve product issues, implement enhancements, drive value engineering when applicable, and specify new product and custom product business cases and resource requirements. You will also work with other departments in the organization such as marketing to develop strategies to generate product demand.  The product manager also works with the operations department to understand current production capabilities and challenges.  The product manager and the sales department will review business cases, margins, and look for opportunities to work and visit key customers to provide voice of customer and user feedback to the development team. 
 
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years of relevant product management experience and has a deep understanding of market dynamics, technical expertise, and a proven track record of delivering successful product management in the following industries: power generation, energy & battery storage, solar & renewable energy.

The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 8:00 – 5:00pm. The role requires travel of up to 20% on a monthly cadence to attend trade shows or meet with customers, partners, and vendors.
This role reports to the VP of Product Engineering-Storage. 

Role & Responsibilities:

    • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling product strategy aligned with the company's goals and market trends. Leverage extensive industry experience to provide strategic insight and direction for ANA Energy’s Energy Boss product portfolio.
    • Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse product portfolio, making informed decisions about product development, enhancements, and end of life planning.
    • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional collaboration between product engineering, service & support, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure seamless execution of product strategies. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the product management team and ensure accountability, define issues and propose solutions.
    • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep technical understanding of the product domain, providing guidance to sales and marketing.  Facilitate technical discussions within the organization and with customers.
    • Market and Competitor Knowledge: Deep understanding of competing technology and competitors.  Sharing information of competing product benefits and limitations to the Sales, Marketing and Engineering team.
    • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, incorporating business, technical, and market considerations.
    • Requirement Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define detailed technical and functional requirements, translating them into actionable development plans.
    • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, leveraging industry knowledge to drive product decisions.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may impact product development or market success.
    • Financial Analysis: Provide and communicate financial product comparisons to customers as well as corporate financial impact
    • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and effectiveness of products.
    • Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Stay informed about emerging technologies, innovations, and industry disruptions to drive innovation within the product portfolio.
    • Customer Focus: Foster a customer-centric approach, actively seeking and analyzing customer feedback to drive product improvements & enhancements.
    • Executive Reporting: Present product updates, performance reports, and strategic plans to the executive team and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, supply chain and operations management, or relevant field
    • 7+ years of relevant experience in product management, with a strong track record of successfully launching and managing products
    • Experience as a product manager in power generation, energy/battery storage, engines, automotive, compressor, and/or solar & renewable energy is strongly desired
    • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
    • In-depth technical knowledge relevant to the product domain
    • Strong market research and analytical skills

$126,000 - $140,000 a year
The salary range for this role is $126,000 – 140,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
