As a Member of the Anchor Labs Compliance, Brokerage and Trading team, you will be a subject matter expert and strong contributor in developing a Compliance framework and supervisory system for entities offering trading and brokerage services domestically and internationally and supporting compliance for non-regulated entities at Anchor Labs. You will work closely with various business units - Platform & Brokerage, Settlements, Operations, Client Experience, Legal, Product, to ensure Anchorage Digital’s products and services are compliant with applicable regulations.

Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of broker dealer operations, common terminology, ability to understand trading strategies.
- Experience with transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics (TRM Labs, Chainalysis) and trade surveillance (Solidus, Actimize).
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Ability to to determine a sustainable, streamlined, risk-based approach to implementing compliance procedures to fulfill a regulatory requirement or a regulatory risk.
- Tackle problems of diverse scope that require building from zero and outreach to other departments, Bank, and thorough research.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Understand the Anchorage Digital entity structure, regulatory, and servicing capabilities out of each entity and jurisdiction we operate in.
- Deliver quality work product in a fast-paced, product oriented and dynamic environment.
Communication and Influence:
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.
- Escalate issues to the Anchor Labs compliance officer for decision making or intervention.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of AML/CFT and/or compliance experience in the crypto industry.
- Knowledge in cryptocurrency regulatory framework and licensing process (US and abroad).
- Passion for building compliance programs for early stage products, creating V1 procedures and documenting policies.
- Expertise using blockchain analytics tools, understanding KYC/AML/sanctions alerts investigation and disposition.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, understanding risk-based due diligence and compliance.
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- High level of curiosity.
- Balance of working independently, yet still be team oriented.
