Anchorage Digital was founded in 2017 to advance institutional participation in digital assets. With an emphasis on security and usability, we provide the technology, infrastructure, and tools that make it easy for institutions across the world to participate in crypto. Our team brings together the brightest minds from security, finance, and distributed systems to build the infrastructure of a new financial system. We are a remote-first, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in San Francisco, New York City, Indianapolis, Sioux Falls, Porto, and Singapore.

The Marketing team’s goal is to accelerate Anchorage Digital’s growth. We do this by focusing our activities on increasing brand awareness (for client awareness and talent attraction), growing our client base, perpetuating our culture internally and externally, and promoting a healthy and robust market for digital assets.

The mission of this role is to work across several areas of marketing to execute on events (virtual and in-person), sponsorships, and memberships that amplify our differentiated brand, contribute to business growth, and accelerate our recruiting efforts. You will collaborate across the marketing, sales, product, people, and sales operations teams to drive positive business impact through events and memberships.

As a Member of Marketing Team - Events & Membership Manager, you will:

    • Plan and execute 8-12 Anchorage hosted events in 2022
    • Create, project manage, and execute on an event marketing strategy and virtual events; and measure outcomes
    • Execute and improve KPIs (for brand awareness and lead gen) at 3rd party sponsored in-person and virtual events - on average 2 per month, including 3-4 large scale productions a year
    • Partner with SMEs to create differentiated on-brand content for events
    • Create content for events and membership opportunities
    • Maximize Anchorage memberships and create infrastructure and measurement plan for membership activity
    • Manage event marketing spend to meet desired outcomes while optimizing sponsorship relationships
    • Collaborate and work across the team to own and pitch in on various one off marketing initiatives
    • Be comfortable in a vertically integrated “all hands” sort of role

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

    • In-person and virtual event marketing management B2B experience
    • A passion about how crypto will transform financial services
    • An expertise as a planner, are highly organized, and love nothing more than a flawlessly executed event
    • Worked at smaller companies and have some experience in other areas of marketing
    • A solutions-oriented mindset and are constantly looking for ways to improve
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with ambiguity and taking risks
