The Event Marketing Team Lead is responsible for overseeing our Events/Retail/RSVP (ERR) Team, ensuring smooth operations in the field. Key responsibilities include managing the ERR Calendar, securing booth space, coordinating staff schedules, providing in-field guidance, and communicating requirements to the Events and Retail Marketing Manager.

A typical schedule would be Monday – Friday, 8am – 5 pm, with occasional weekends if needed. As for compensation, this role would have a base pay PLUS commission.  The HOURLY RATE would be $20.00/hour ( plus commission) Annual commission earnings are uncapped in this role! Mileage reimbursement structure as well.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·  Manage scheduling for all Retail Marketers and assist in the training of new team members.
·  Ensure that all logistical information for each event has been clearly communicated to the events leadership team at least two weeks prior. 
·  Research and discover new events/retail opportunities or RSVP within territory.
·  Negotiate participation in low cost, high return booth locations and events, retail partnerships and RSVP events that co-align with our departmental needs.
·  Provide an overview of all monthly events lists and payments for monthly spend allocations.
·  Ensure that events in each territory are secured and booked from conception to completion.
·  Research all required permits as applicable for events when applicable.
·  Develop, maintain, and utilize events list, monthly calendar and ERR details documents.
·  Work directly with event leadership on new event ideas and events logistics.
·  Inform the Event Marketing Manager of any supplies needed within your territory. 
·  Assist in formulating promotional value ads for onsite events, retail opportunities or RSVP events.
·  Maintain a COM (cost of marketing) of 13%  
·  Communicate and achieve monthly budgeting allocations and logistics in each territory (ie. entry fees, etc.) to Events Marketing Manager.
·  Organizes and tracks payments and refunds for events, retail opportunities or RSVP events.
·  Network with local vendors and events coordinators to maintain up to date knowledge on upcoming events and promotional opportunities.
·  Booking and participation in monthly meetings with leadership. 
· Establish and maintain good relationships with external vendors and customers by offering world class service.
·  Responsible for the achievement of departmental goals and overall success of the department and assigned territory.
·  Drive an RBA of CNY or personal vehicle for set up purposes as needed, must be able to meet driving requirements
·  Complete departmental administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
·       Exemplary customer service, interpersonal and public relations skills
·       Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·       Ability to learn quickly, be detail oriented, have organizational and time management skills
·       Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, contribute to a positive team culture and create a culturally inclusive environment, empathetic and build trusting team member and customer relationships
·       Ability to actively listen, communicate effectively, receive and seek feedback, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
·   Two (2) year degree or similar event experience preferred
·   2-4 years of Management or supervisory experience preferred
·   High School diploma or equivalent required
·   Basic math skills required
·   Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
·   Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record required
