Our North Branch team is hiring a Material Handler! Get paid to learn a new skill and start your career at Andersen!
North Branch Shift Hours: This position works 3 consecutive days (6AM - 6 PM). You will work 3 consecutive days then have 3 consecutive days off. Three weeks you will work 36 hours and then three weeks you will work 48 hours. Each crew works 3 consecutive weekends, then has 3 consecutive weekends off. Over the course of one year, you’ll work up to 80 days less than a normal 5-day work week.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Replenish materials to production areas and warehouse following the standard work and replenishment FIFO rules.
· Put inventory away in proper location in warehouse and remove empty loads from warehouse.
· Sort and report scrap material and maintain PIT equipment in accordance with daily checklist.
· Must operate equipment in a safe and manner and perform Safety audits
· Remove empty carts and replace with full carts as needed and complete Inventory counts and ordering of materials.
· Pull and review packing lists and check received goods against purchase orders
· Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions
· Operate small machines as needed
· Assist with the drying of raw materials (acrylics and other future materials as needed)
· Participate and sustain 5S activities and in kaizen events and sustain improvements made from those events.
· Maintain storage areas, prepare flats for loading and disassemble, wrap & label loads as necessary.
· Attend and participate in appropriate training and development programs
· Handle wastes from extrusion process – grind scrap and dispose trash.
· Attend and participate in appropriate training and development programs
· Develop knowledge of inventory tracking systems (tools & software). Perform transactions under direction of Sr. Supply Chain Associates and other qualified resources.
· Unloads trailers, identify, verify and sign for material received. Loads trailers and prepares shipping documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift (50 lbs., several times a day).
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Basic computer skills- keyboarding, Windows
- Understanding of product, parts and location
- Licensed PIT operator
- Understanding of related safety policies and procedures

Andersen has set a 2025 profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
