You can be part of a growing area at Andersen Corporation at our North Branch, MN Fibrex Extrusion plant. We are hiring Production Associates to manufacture window and door lineals out of Andersen's innovative Fibrex material. Get paid to learn a new skill and start your career at Andersen!
North Branch Shift Hours:
1ST [5x8] (6:00AM – 2:20PM) - Monday –Friday - $19.75/hr
2ND [5x8] (2:00PM – 10:20PM) - Monday - Friday - $21.33/hr - 8% shift differential on 2nd shift
3RD [5x8] (10:00PM – 6:20AM) - Sunday - Thursday - $23.89 - 12% shift differential on 3nd shift
DAY [3 x 3] (6:00AM - 6:00PM) - $19.75/hr
NIGHT [3 x 3] (6:00PM - 6:00AM) - $23.98/hr
DAY/NIGHT Shift: You will work 3 consecutive days then have 3 consecutive days off. Three weeks you will work 36 hours and then three weeks you will work 48 hours. Each crew works 3 consecutive weekends, then has 3 consecutive weekends off. Over the course of one year, you’ll work up to 80 days less than a normal 5-day work week.
Growth Opportunities: You will begin your Andersen career as an Extrusion Associate, learning the basics of Fibrex Extrusion. As an associate, you'll assist the Operator with daily tasks while continuing your learning and training to become an Operator yourself. Once an Extruder Operator, you can further your skills to become a Senior Extruder Operator. We also have positions in Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Leadership.
Qualifications:
- Desire to learn skills on the job in a fast paced environment.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Ability to articulate both written and verbal processes and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, performing tasks requiring repetitive motion and standing for long periods of time.
- Willingness to cross-train on several operations.
- Ability to demonstrate competency in safety, quality, initiative, teamwork, attitude and attendance.
- Shift flexibility
Primary Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety rules and policies.
- Visually inspect lineals for conformity to specifications.
- Interpret smart scope, Promex, and bow machine results for dimensional conformity.
- Use all Quality appearance station forms and gauges to adhere to Quality Standards.
- Follow daily standard work.
- Stack profiles according to standard work.
- Properly wrap loads.
- Order raw materials.
- Adhere to line schedule.
- Complete production paperwork.
- Support respectful workplace.
- Participate in appropriate training and development programs

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
