This position earns commission in addition to base pay. Your hourly rate will be $20/hr + BONUSES. The best part is that our team gets paid every week! On average, our employees make $24/hr.  This team works Monday - Friday from 9am - 5:30pm (subject to change seasonally). There are breaks throughout the day as well as a 1-hour lunch break. Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.

PURPOSE:

As a Direct Marketing Associate, you'll be at the frontline of our Neighborhood Marketing Program, being a difference maker while enjoying great benefits. This position is responsible for engaging in generating highly qualified leads by engaging in door-to-door canvassing. While doing so it is the responsibility of the canvasser to record accurate data regarding the information of prospective customers, and the targeted market area.

- Memorize and confidently recite sales scripts and statements prepared and provided by Renewal by Andersen to develop rapport and influence homeowners in targeted territories to secure Sales appointments

- Go door-to-door in designated areas while identifying issues with current homes to introduce Renewal’s offers to potential customers

-Demonstrate a vast knowledge of our products and services being canvassed to convince homeowners to schedule a free inspection and estimate on specific home improvement projects

- Gather contact information from homeowners and enter detailed information accurately that is gathered from face-to-face interactions into our Salesforce Customer Relations Software (CRM)

- Confidently answer questions and overcome objections to meet daily goals set by the Marketing Department

- Attend continual training to ensure you know all about Renewal, our quality products (windows, doors, etc.), and know how to use our software systems to set day/time for sales opportunities in our calendars for each market

- Attend on and off-premise meetings and consistently meet daily and weekly quotas set by the Marketing Department

- Working under the instructions of a Direct Marketing Manager

- Direct Marketing positions involve frequent travel to designated canvassing areas, where reliable personal vehicles are essential

- Energetic and persuasive personality with ability to build Rapport and develop relationships

- Ability to present ideas and information in an effective way that engages and motivates, multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, manage time effectively, superior customer service skills

- Proven follow up and organizational skills, read and comprehend instructions and information

- Must have physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods, meeting and talking to people and happy to work outside!

- Availability to work evenings and weekends, actively listen and communicate effectively

- Conflict management skills and ability to contribute to a positive team culture and create a culturally inclusive environment

- Ability to be empathetic and build trusting team member and customer relationships

- Ability to effectively problem solve in a fast-paced environment and receive and seek feedback
