Join our Renewal by Andersen of Albert Lea team! Renewal by Andersen is a premier replacement window and door company that has an immediate opening for a Field Measure Technician that is detail oriented and has related experience.
The Field Measure Technician is integral to our post-sale process and our customers satisfaction. A successful candidate will require attention to detail, thoroughness, time management and effective prioritization. The Field Measure Technician consistently maintains a positive attitude, proactively communicates, and solves challenges through critical thinking and teamwork. The Field Measure Technician will represent Home Solutions Midwest core values, making complete customer satisfaction their ultimate goal.
The successful candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for providing accurate measurements and documentation for all jobs, in a timely manner, while providing excellent customer service. Pay starts Between $22-25/hr depending on experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accurately measure windows, doors, and sliding glass door openings as needed at residential customer sites
· Support pricing process by providing accurate measurements and assessments for labor/materials while providing excellent customer service
· Provide support to installers and other department and perform pre-installation inspections
· Anticipate roadblocks that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance; recommend solutions
· Maintain knowledge of product, installation techniques and construction basics and provide warehouse support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments. Must maintain professional and execute Home Solutions Midwest Brand requirements. Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record.
· Demonstrated knowledge with computer systems with a customer centric mindset.
· Superior time and project management skills, prioritization and organization.
· Solid communication skills; clear and readable written documents, graphics, drawings, and messages.
· Ability to use a measuring tape/construction experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Constantly positions self to measure at various levels & ascend/Descend ladders or other various equipment to work at heights
· Frequent work performed while standing & must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel
· Exposure to elements outdoors with potential for animal exposure (cats/dogs/bees etc.)
· Availability to work when homeowners are available (Between hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm)
