As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will own the cost data that informs operational decision making at Anduril. In this role, you will work with teams from across the business to understand and build effective cost models. Your work will vary from quick-turn ad hoc analysis, journal entry and recon preparation, to detailed cost models – all in the pursuit of helping grow the understanding and measurement of Cost at Anduril.
What you’ll do:
- Perform standard Month-end close Procedures (post JE’s, reconcile accounts, etc)
- Cost new parts, and assist daily business to ensure roadblocks are minimized
- Develop/enhance efficient costing methodologies across different products
- Analyze variances against those costs and help drive the organization to find efficiencies in processes
- Assist with weekly/yearly Inventory Counts
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Cost Accounting, 7+ years of professional experience, and want to be a leader within the field
- You aren’t scared of detailed work, but can easily translate details to the 30,000 ft view with VP/Exec level leadership
- You enjoy influencing and pushing the business forward, and can handle quick iterations
- You take great pride in your work, and can work with some ambiguity
- Collaboration within the Cost Accounting org and with other teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, etc) excites you.
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
