The Manager, Content Release & Delivery at Angel is the outcome owner of media project delivery from intake through archival. This role leads the structured execution of media and film content, ensuring every project moves through the pipeline with operational excellence, creative alignment and marketing collaboration, and on-time release .This position serves as the primary operational interface between filmmakers, internal departments, and the Marketing team—driving accountability, innovation, and delivery readiness across all active content. This is a high-ownership role requiring strategic leadership, strong execution, and the ability to build and improve systems at scale.

Essential Functions

    • Serve as the primary liaison between Angel and filmmakers of newly licensed projects
    • Coordinate new release pipeline with business affairs team and director of programming
    • Coordinate asset delivery, QC, and content policy with media operations team
    • Monitor streaming release calendar and proactively share updates and details about streaming library with company
    • Coordinate with filmmakers and marketing team on additional marketing assets, social posts, and other requests
    • Create and share data dashboards and royalty reports with filmmakers of licensed projects
    • Manage the calendar of personalized updates from filmmakers on the Angel platform
    • Continually analyze and optimize processes to improve relationships with filmmakers, talent, partners, and users
    • Work with team on other programming, streaming, and internal marketing efforts where needed
    • Coordinate with the brand development team on key art and trailer creation and testing for select projects.

Redone Essential functions:

    • Serve as the primary strategic liaison between Angel and filmmakers of newly licensed projects, ensuring alignment on vision, timelines, and outcomes.
    • Drive the execution of the new release pipeline in partnership with the Business Affairs team and Director of Programming.
    • Oversee and ensure successful asset delivery, quality control, and content policy compliance in collaboration with the Media Operations team.
    • Own the streaming release calendar, proactively communicating updates and maintaining visibility of the streaming library across the company.
    • Lead engagement with filmmakers and Marketing on the development and delivery of marketing assets, social campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
    • Deliver data dashboards and royalty reports to filmmakers, providing actionable insights and transparent performance tracking.
    • Manage and optimize the cadence of personalized filmmaker updates shared with audiences on the Angel platform.
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance workflows to strengthen relationships with filmmakers, talent, partners, and users.
    • Partner cross-functionally on programming, streaming, and internal marketing initiatives to advance key company priorities.
    • Guide the development and testing of key art and trailers with the Brand Development team, ensuring assets meet creative and market impact standards.

Required education and experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
    • 3–5 years of experience in media operations, creative production, or project/program management within a content-centric environment.
    • Strong understanding of technical delivery pipelines, post-production approaches and creative asset management.

Preferred education and experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications, or Business-related field.
    • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
    • Experience in studio, streaming, or entertainment/media-tech environments.
$85,000 - $94,000 a year
Commensurate with experience and scope of responsibility
