Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team at the Animoca Brands headquarters in Hong Kong. 

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing engaging content across various platforms to drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and support marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with other members of the social media team and the broader marketing team to broaden our organic reach.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and publish compelling content across multiple social media platforms (X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) to engage our audience and amplify brand awareness
    • Specialize in managing Simplified Chinese localization efforts on X, ensuring language accuracy and cultural relevance
    • Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to brainstorm innovative social media campaigns
    • Actively engage with our vibrant online community, efficiently responding to comments and inquiries
    • Capture the essence of Animoca Brands’ participation in events through photography for social media storytelling
    • Keep a pulse on competitor social media strategies and evolving industry trends
    • Inject creative insights and fresh ideas into our social media strategy during collaborative team sessions

Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
    • 1-2 years of experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Demonstrated proficiency with social media platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram), either personally or professionally
    • A keen eye on emerging trends in social media, with the agility to adapt and implement these insights
    • Fluent in Mandarin (Simplified Chinese), showcasing strong linguistic capabilities
    • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, thriving in a collaborative environment
    • A passion for photography and capturing moments will be considered advantageous
    • While prior knowledge of blockchain and Web3 technologies is a plus, an enthusiastic curiosity to learn and grow in this area is essential
