We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Project Manager (Education Facilities) to join our growing team in Advisory and Compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals.
- Assign duties to staff to implement project goals as needed.
- Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
- Overview project goals and ensure project goals are achievable.
- Liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain project schedule and budget.
- Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals
- Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
- Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution
Minimum Requirements
- 4-year degree in relevant field (Engineering Architecture Project/Construction Management or other related degree). OR Field experience can substitute educational requirements.
- 1-5 years’ work experience in related field
- Basic understanding and knowledge of construction site safety
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient with an ability to multitask in order to complete the above-mentioned responsibilities
- Ability to meet schedule and deliverable deadlines (time management)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years' experience in Educational Facility Construction preferred
- Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle, to include programming, design and closeout
- Experience in multiple delivery methods and experience with using a web-based project management system such as Smartsheet, Procore, e-builder and PMWeb.
- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification
- A valid registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer in Florida
- A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI)
