As a Revenue Accountant, you will be supporting a high-energy, rapidly growing company. This role plays an essential part in our Revenue team and will oversee revenue and billing for assigned clients. This role will work closely with the Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Client Partnership teams in reviewing sales orders and client costs for the appropriate revenue recognition treatment. You will drive continuous process improvement for the revenue cycle.

What You'll Do:

    • Support Ansira’s Revenue team including contract analysis, billing, reporting, and revenue recognition
    • Assist with reviewing and approving invoices & credit/debit adjustments created by the billing analysts
    • Perform month-end revenue related journal entries
    • Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
    • Work with customers and operations department to research and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
    • Work with the collections department to research and resolve credit issues or discrepancies (involves working closely with the sales and operations departments to ensure accuracy and contract compliance of disputed items)
    • SOX control performance and documentation maintenance
    • Ad hoc and special projects as needed


    • BA or BS degree in Accounting
    • 2 – 4  years’ experience in billing/revenue recognition, preferably in a tech or advertising company
    • Advanced understanding of GAAP
    • Strong understanding of ASC 606
    • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
    • Moderate to advanced Excel skills required
    • Exceptional analytical and communication skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical
    • Ability to take ownership of your workload and prioritize to meet deadlines
    • Must be able to partner with the business as part of a cross functional team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
    • NetSuite and CRM experience a plus
    • Experience reading revenue contracts a plus
