Ansira is looking for a Strategist to join the Strategic Services team in a high-visibility, high-stakes, high-impact role that involves both the best of email marketing and incorporates all the core principles of digital marketing. The successful strategist will understand how content, creative design, technology and analytics fuel successful digital marketing programs. 

What you will do:

    • Works closely with Account Managers/Directors in auditing, shaping and guiding email programs for both enterprise B2B and B2C clients
    • Creates and provides oversight of strategy briefs for projects / campaigns
    • Owns client-specific learning agenda and testing plans for program optimization
    • Develop insights, trends, and recommendations from a reporting dashboard (monthly/quarterly) and quarterly business review presentations
    • Collaborates with Account Management team to develop annual program roadmaps
    • Contributes to creation and development of thought leadership content (blog posts, white papers), case studies and award submissions
    • Participates in and supports business development initiatives (incl. strategy and pitch deck prep and in-person presentations
    • Provides internal and external consultation in regard to ESP capabilities and functionality
    • Occasional travel for client meetings, industry conferences

Background/ Experience:

    • 3-5 years of hands-on email marketing experience including (but not limited to) campaign deployment (aka. Hitting the send button) via enterprise email / marketing automation platforms (ex. ExactTarget, Silverpop, Responsys, Marketo)
    • Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
    • Ability to clearly articulate (in writing / as presentation) insights and recommendations
    • Proven success as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage workload
    • Superior attention to detail while dealing with complex projects and time-sensitive materials
    • Self motivated/self starter, and ability to work independently
    • Professional demeanor and strong client relationship skills
    • Fundamental understanding of core digital marketing disciplines such as:
    • Relational data, Audience segmentation, Websites / Web Applications / Content Management Systems, Social Media, Mobile apps and Search, Display

Preferred Skills:

    • Prior consulting / agency experience and/or client-side marketing experience
    • Experience writing blog posts / white papers / thought leadership
    • Experience in speaking and presenting to large groups at industry events
