Position: Sr. Software/DevOps Engineer (Ref#115971)
Job Location: Dallas, Texas
Job Duties: Reduce the total cost of ownership by making wise use of Cloud technologies, as well as other proprietary and open-source solutions. Keep data secure and follow security best practices by managing the backlog of tasks related to feature development, developer requests, and technical debt. Manage F5 BIG-IP web application firewall configuration for on-premises applications. Perform Root cause analysis of application downtime and make adjustments in code or process to prevent repeat issues. As a member of the operations team, assist in the remediation of any failed application\service. Integrate Ansible in all Windows Servers using win_rm package Azure Linux VM as a Ansible Controller to ON-Prem Windows Servers. Assist team with CICD Implementations. Manage AWS Accounts, and assist clients to maintain and monitor Cloud Infrastructure. Build and configure the Production systems and manage corresponding updating process of the servers using Ansible. In connection with above duties, utilize experience in Version Control (Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github, TFS), Code Coverage Tool (SonarQube), CI Tool (Jenkins), Cloud Env (AWS, AZURE), IAC (Terraform), Configuration Management Tool (Ansible), Agile/Scrum, Docker, and Servers (Linux, Redhat, Ubuntu).
Requirements: Masters degree in Computer and Information Science, Computer or Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field plus 2 years experience in job offered or 2 years experience in related occupation using experience in Version Control (Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github, TFS), Code Coverage Tool (SonarQube), CI Tool (Jenkins), Cloud Env (AWS, AZURE), IAC (Terraform), Configuration Management Tool (Ansible), Agile/Scrum, Docker, and Servers (Linux, Redhat, Ubuntu).
In lieu of Master’s degree, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in above listed fields plus 5 years of progressive work experience in related occupation. Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Telecommuting (work from home) permitted within metropolitan statistical area.
