ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 200+ people and work on cutting-edge robot technology.

The Opportunity

As the Head of Talent, you will be the founding member of our in-house leadership/executive search function, responsible for designing and executing on search strategy as well as introducing the function to the organization. This is a hands-on role that requires a strategic mindset and a passion for creating a best-in-class, repeatable, and fair hiring process for a pioneer in robotics. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture by ensuring we attract and hire the best leaders in the industry.

The Market & Our Technology

ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our mobile robot ANYmal uses legs for extreme mobility in complex environments, camera- and LIDAR-based sensing for full autonomy and obstacle avoidance, and AI for high-quality and consistent inspection results. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, and all related ANYbotics mechanical hardware.

Your Contributions

    • Leverage and expand your extensive current and global network of executive-level candidates and industry professionals to source and attract top-tier talent for ANYbotics.
    • Partner with the VP People, C-suite, and the entire leadership team to define key roles and build ideal candidate profiles for a distributed-team work environment.
    • Conduct additional in-depth market research to identify and attract top-tier talent from around the world.

You will set the vision for the talent function, design the frameworks, train the interviewing teams, and ensure consistent application of methodologies. This also includes building our brand, talent pipelines, and a robust search methodology that can scale to a global level.
    • Manage the end-to-end leadership search process for critical leadership roles, including sourcing, candidate screening, interviews, offer negotiation, and closing.
    • Mentor Talent Partner(s), and partner closely with the People Team supporting People roadmap (inc. competency framework optimization, functional competency development support, enablement of high-performance practices right from the start of a candidate lifecycle, etc.)
    • Serve as a thought leader for best Talent practices and continue to scale the function.

Your Profile

    • An extensive, current, and global network of executive talent and key industry contacts.
    • A prior proven signal in effective and productive remote work, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and deliver results as part of a distributed team.
    • Proven experience in leadership/executive search, with a track record of successfully placing C-suite or VP-level candidates, preferably within the (deep)tech startup/scaleup ecosystem.
    • Deep expertise in structured interviewing methodologies. You should not just be familiar with the concept but have hands-on experience designing and implementing a system that's compatible with people frameworks, enables consistent hiring effectiveness, bar-raiser practices, stellar candidate experience, and is scalable.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to get buy-in from senior leaders.
    • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner effectively across the organization.
    • Data-driven mindset and a passion for using metrics to improve staffing/talent outcomes.
    • A high degree of empathy and an unwavering commitment to a positive candidate experience.

Bonus Points
