The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and skilled member to join our Workforce Team, responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Workforce Suite—including Data Navigator, Mission Controller, and Field Operator App. These applications empower our customers by extracting, visualizing, and manipulating critical data to drive smarter decisions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure from a solid foundation to a smart, reliable, and scalable state-of-the-art system. You will gain hands-on experience managing our cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and developing on-premises recipes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance and expand our observability platform, improving how we collect and analyze metrics from ANYmal and other systems, helping the team proactively monitor and optimize performance.

We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, and all related ANYbotics mechanical hardware.

Your Contributions
- Shape and implement cloud solutions to configure, deploy, operate, and monitor fleets of robots
- Build up data collection and storage infrastructure for telemetry, future data science & machine learning applications
- Integrate tools and drive infrastructure changes for efficient software development, fast learning response
- Participate in key stages of software development and collaborate with different teams
- Drive team understanding of DevOps and generally contribute positively to company culture
Your Profile
- An engineering or science degree with a focus on computer science
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and related tools in the Kubernetes ecosystem
- Working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, and EKS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools, including CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Proficient in writing scripts and automation using Python and Bash
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments and web technologies (Databases, Message Queues, Reverse Proxies, etc)
- Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Bonus Points
- Experience in operating, monitoring, and scaling microservice deployments is a plus
- Experience with Wireguard and WebRTC
