ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries. Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 190 people and work on cutting-edge robot technology.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Electronics Test Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will take ownership of the development and continuous improvement of PCBA and electronics test systems that ensure quality, reliability, and scalability of our products. From early product design through to series production, you will shape how we validate and monitor the performance of our electronic systems. Your work will have a direct impact on product quality, first-pass yield, and reliability, enabling us to scale with confidence.

The Market & Our Technology

ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our products enable autonomous routine inspections and monitoring of large scale industrial facilities for increased safety and productivity. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, as well as all software to enable world-class mobility, autonomy and AI driven inspection insights. We have proven the technology and the business impact to our customers in long-term pilot projects and are scaling-up sales of our commercial solution.

Your Contributions

    • Develop and implement production test systems (in-circuit, functional, bed-of-nails) for PCBAs and electronic assemblies together with our production partners
    • Define test coverage strategies in collaboration with R&D to ensure robust design-for-test (DFT) practices
    • Maintain and calibrate production test equipment, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime
    • Monitor first-pass yield, test results, and quality metrics to identify trends and drive improvements
    • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of test failures in collaboration with design, manufacturing, and suppliers
    • Ensure test procedures and documentation are up-to-date, clear, and compliant with industry standards
    • Train operators and provide technical support to manufacturing partners

Your Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
    • Strong experience in electronics test engineering (PCBA and system level) in a production environment
    • Hands-on knowledge of test methodologies: in-circuit test, functional test, flying probe, etc.
    • Experience with test automation tools, data analysis, and yield monitoring
    • Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills at both hardware and system level
    • Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators, etc.) and calibration processes
    • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills in English (German a plus)

Bonus Points

    • Profound PCBA and cable design expertise and component engineering
    • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
    • In-depth knowledge of industry standards including ISO and IPC
    • Experienced in firmware and test software development
We offer you a very exciting and dynamic work environment, the opportunity to become part of a fast-growing company and an ambitious team that is on a mission to change the industrial inspection market, a chance to leverage your experience and bring in your own ideas, a fair market salary, an attractive employee stock ownership plan, and a job in the city of Zurich.
