Summary:
We are seeking a thought leader in free-to-play (F2P) product analysis who is business-savvy, pro-active, intellectually curious, and an analytics powerhouse to lead, own, and deliver in-depth analyses of large-scale data problems to influence numerous aspects of business performance. You will be a leader in the Product Analytics team that supports our consumer products, including our flagship product: ABCmouse. Contribution will come in the form of defining data capture requirements, verifying data integrity, data manipulation, business monitoring, data visualization, and in-depth analyses. Your work will have a strong impact in influencing Product Management and Senior Executives through actionable business recommendations that ultimately help children learn!
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with product stakeholders to solve key product challenges.
- Drive A/B and multivariate testing strategy and implementation across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Define the KPIs that ensure a successful launch and global expansion of our consumer products.
- Own product analyses to understand how user behavior impacts KPIs.
- Develop statistical analyses to understand customer behavior and product performance.
- Create engaging and informative automated/real-time dashboards and visualizations.
- Identify actionable insights that positively affect both company performance and learning outcomes for children.
- Communicate results to a diverse range of stakeholders in a concise and impactful manner.
- Drive data capture and data integrity requirements - partner with product and engineering teams to ensure the right data is captured.
- Maintain a vigilant eye on data quality.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years in an analytical/product-focused role in large-scale and successful F2P digital products, experience working on games or educational apps a plus.
- Must have experience with successful first-launch and international expansion of multiple F2P products.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable putting themselves in the shoes of the product manager, customer, and user, proactively searching for ways to provide value to all three.
- Must be able to understand and analyze data, synthesizing large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analyses and actionable findings.
- Must have experience with A/B testing.
- Fluent in complex SQL queries on big data sets.
- Data transformation and modeling using dbt.
- Fluent in Tableau and Excel. Additional data visualization capabilities a plus.
- Able to perform statistical analysis and create visualizations using R or Python.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as analytics, statistics, applied math, data science, economics or computer science) from four-year college or university; OR a Bachelor’s degree in a non-quantitative field AND a Master’s degree in a quantitative field.

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $140,000 USD to $170,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
