EU Investment Operations Officer
This is a full-time position based in London
Apeiron Investment Group builds companies at the very forefront of biotech, spacetech, deep tech, fintech, and crypto.
We’re looking for a highly structured Investment Operations Officer to join our Operations practice focusing on our EU-based funds. As part of our small, entrepreneurial, and diverse team, you’ll work closely with our central platform functions as well as with our international fund teams on strategic operational projects that define our organization’s investment platform.
Qualifications
- Background in fund operations, fund administration or accounting, coupled with a thorough knowledge of investment processes
- Detail-oriented and highly numerate individual with advanced Excel knowledge and preferably some Excel automation skills.
- A proven track-record of timely project delivery, process improvement and teamwork
- Good grasp of the European venture landscape and active interest in the venture capital industry
- German is a plus
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of portfolio, valuations, P&L and cash for EU funds
- Overseeing the NAV quarterly production processes for EU funds
- Acting as liaison with fund service providers including administrators, legal, auditors, brokers and banking entities across multiple jurisdictions
- Report coordination between funds and platform
- Project management and project implementation support, including continuous process improvement and automation touching international fund operations teams
- Overseeing LP interaction (e.g. distributions and ad-hoc queries)
- Structuring support
- Support to fundraising teams (e.g. managing subscription form flow)
- Becoming an “ops tech” superuser capable of training and creating reports and content
