This is a full-time position based in New York.
Apeiron Investment Group invests in and builds companies at the forefront of biotech, deeptech, fintech, and crypto. One of our portfolio companies, a stealth startup based in the heart of New York City, is building something big. The founding team includes serial entrepreneurs and ex-leaders from top tech companies, backed by some of the most respected investors in the world.
The company is looking for a Director of Talent to help them scale — from sourcing and recruitment to onboarding. This role is ideal for a builder — someone who thrives in fast-moving, zero-to-one environments and knows what it takes to attract exceptional people in highly competitive markets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in talent roles, ideally including experience in early-stage or hypergrowth startups
- Proven success sourcing and closing top-tier talent in corporate and technical functions
- Deep understanding of the NYC and national startup talent market
- Experience building and scaling recruiting processes from scratch
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with creativity, resilience, and speed
- A storyteller’s ability to get candidates excited about a mission
- Strong operational chops and a data-informed mindset
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable talent acquisition strategy aligned with business needs and growth forecasts
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process across corporate and technical roles — ensuring a seamless, high-touch candidate experience
- Help craft and communicate our employer brand and partner with leadership to foster a high-performance culture
- Select and implement ATS and HR systems to support hiring and onboarding at scale
- Facilitate visas and relocation for international hires
