About the team
We are a relatively small team based in Istanbul seeking motivated back-end developers/engineers to work with us remotely and/or in-office. Our work ethos embraces flexibility, offering the freedom to work asynchronously with occasional sync-ups as needed. We are committed to ethical software development and we strive to accomplish our goals with integrity and quality in mind.
If you are a skilled back-end developer who values our ethos, we'd be excited to have you join us.
You will be responsible to:
- Design, build, and deploy the back-end services that power our front-end applications
- Iterate over already deployed services to improve security, scalability, and performance
- Document architectural decisions as they come up
- Collaborate with the rest of the development team to implement new services
You'd be a better fit for us if you have:
- Considerable amount of experience building back-end web applications, preferably microservices
- Experience developing web applications using Node.js, Express, NestJS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and gRPC
- Experience training and/or deploying ML models
- Mindset to own problems personally and work on their solutions from start to finish
- Willingness to keep track of your own progress whether it be achievements or failures and report them weekly
